These Casinos have a worthy place in the electric guitar cannon and this fine example would make a fanatic addition to any collection. Plugged in the guitar runs the gamut from warm neck pickup to a more honky, biting bridge pickup tone. The guitar comes with a nice correct hardshell case with the blue lining.Īcoustically this guitar has a pleasantly warm tone that certainly tips the hat to Epiphone’s archtop heritage.
The vibrato works very well.Įlectrically everything seems to be correct. The hardware shows some discoloration and some very slight pitting. 42mm nut indicates this is a transitional example. The headstock is in good shape with a few minor chips. The neck is in superb condition with almost no wear, the original frets have plenty of life left in them. The colour has faded a little but again this is not too extensive.
